At Hollingworth Academy we take pride in ensuring our students are regularly attending and therefore increasing their opportunities for success. On some occasions academy staff may still ring to discuss reasons for your child’s absence after a message or email has been received to the absence reporting lines of communication.
Policy states parents must: ‘Call school to report their child’s absence before 8.40am on the day of the absence and each subsequent day of the absence and advise when they are expected to return’.
