The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) governs all external public examinations administered throughout the UK.
All test centres and candidates MUST abide by JCQ regulations or face consequences including withdrawal from ALL examinations.

Results Day 2024
GCSE and Vocational examination results will be available on Thursday 22nd August 2024 and will be available to collect from Hollingworth Academy between 10.00am and 12.00pm. If you are unable to collect your results in person, then you can nominate someone to collect them on your behalf. They must bring a letter from yourself authorising them to do so and their own photographic identity, such as a passport or driving licence. You can also leave a stamped, self-addressed envelope with the Exams Officer before Friday 19th July 2024 and they will be posted to you. Please note that results will not be given over the telephone or by email.
Certificates will be available for collection from reception after the Presentation Evening, date to be confirmed; but this will be communicated.
Please note certificates will not be posted as they need to be signed for. If you are unable to collect your certificates, then written authorisation needs to be given to whoever is collecting certificates on your behalf, together with photographic identification.
PLEASE NOTE: Under the Data Protection Act 2018
As from 1st September 2019, all Examination Results Information and Certificates will be retained by the Academy until the candidate’s date of birth +25 years and will then be disposed of securely.
