We look forward to welcoming prospective parents and carers to our Open Evening on Wednesday 1st October 2025 from 5.45pm – 8.00pm. There is no need to book to attend our Open Evening, please come along at a time suitable for you between 5.45pm – 8.00pm.

We can't wait to welcome our new Year 7 pupils to Hollingworth Academy in September.  If you could spend some time going through this booklet with your child, it will give them some important information about the school day.

This useful booklet outlines key information under the following areas: Our School Uniform, Our Expectations, Attendance and Punctuality, Communication, the Academy Day, Equipment, Homework, Academy Detentions, Bus Timetable and the Academy Holidays. 

To support our incoming Year 6 pupils with their summer reading challenge, members of our school staff have recorded selected sections of The Final Year. We invite you to listen and read along with us as you prepare for your transition to our school community this September.
