Statistics Mission Statement

Our GCSE Statistics curriculum is designed to empower pupils to become critically thinking, data-literate citizens in an increasingly information-rich world. Beyond the simple mechanics of calculation, our curriculum aims to demystify the data that surrounds us—from scientific studies and political polls to sports analytics and climate modelling.

We intend to foster a deep curiosity about trends, variation, and probability, equipping pupils with the tools to question assumptions, identify bias, and make informed, evidence-based decisions.
